The sun is out, the flowers are blossoming… it can only mean one thing – it is officially Spring! Now most of you know I am a massive Christmas fan and the other holidays seem to go past without much fuss – but I thought no, not this year! Last year my mum bought this cute white decoration tree from hobbycraft and we made a reasonable effort to decorate it with some easter decorations which had been collecting dust in the attic for years. This year, I raided the local Tiger shop and bought a tonne of decorations so that we could go wild this Easter! The decorations were all reasonably priced, a set of 20 ‘mini eggs’ cost £2, the glass baubles were bought in a set of 6 for £3 and the fuzzy felt eggs were £1 each. I also grabbed some colourful lambs because I thought they were adorable! The wooden painted eggs were actually picked up from my Budapest trip last year – these were also reasonably priced in the local markets, so if you’re ever over that way, go pick some up! What’s the best bit about these kind of decorations? You can bring them out each year and they’ll still look colourful, cheery and trendy!
I think this is a really lovely way to decorate your house for Easter, every time I walk past it – I smile!
Until next time, Chloé x
