When I spotted Adele at the HQ Summer Showcase I was eager to go over and say hello, what a fantastic author she is and a wonderful person to chat to also!
I Invited Her In is Adele’s latest and boy, oh boy, is it good! It’s unbelievably twisty and will keep you up all night!
When Mel invites her old university friend; Abi, into her home, she has no idea that everything is about to change. Instead of seeing the warning signs, Mel is swept up by walking down memory lane and feeling young again. What’s so brilliant about this plot is the fact you know Abi is going to rock the boat, and there are definitely mays seeds that Parks plants in you head, but when the truth finally pops out – BANG… it’s a shock!
The plot continues to unfold and Abi’s intentions are driven by more than just lust. But why? What did Mel do, to deserve this? You’ll have to read to find out!
Park has managed to capture human nature so perfectly through her portrayal of the key characters – the eagerness, the jealousy, the hatred, etc., that her characters feel so real and grab you from the pages.
Another expertly crafted story from Parks, which will seduce you with it’s twists and leave you craving more!
