The Brotherhood of the World Award

Ahhhhh….. how exciting!!! The other day I got a lovely surprise, Samantha had nominated me for this award. For those of you who haven’t checked out Samantha’s blog, go over now and have a look at some of the incredible short stories she’s posted, check out these two to get you started: The Look and The House.
I’d like to say a huge thank you to not only Samantha but to all you lovely bloggers that have welcomed me into this kind, inspiring and positive bubble! The last few months have been a blur… I wasn’t even sure if I’d still be writing posts three months down the line… but here I am!

The Brotherhood Of The World Award is an award given to bloggers by bloggers

The rules for the Brotherhood Of The World Bloggers Award are:

So here’s the questions that Samantha asked me:

1) What makes you angry?

Two things: being taken for granted and people with no manners.

I’m a huge believer that you should give as much as you take and therefore I can get a little peeved if I end up doing everything for someone and they give me nothing in return – although I usually call it ‘even stevens’ if the other person just says thanks!

My mother always told me to say ‘thank you’ and ‘please’ and so if I give up my seat for someone on the train or hold a door for someone, I get quite angry when I don’t hear a ‘thank you’….

Hmmmm…. I wonder what that says about me!

2) What was your last random act of kindness?

A lady dropped her purse at the train station and the coins went everywhere, I stayed behind and helped her pick them all up, she was really grateful 🙂

3) What is your key to happiness?

Stop thinking about what everyone else thinks and just do what makes you happy 

(Although I have to keep reminding myself of this!!)

4) What is your philosophy of life in three words?

Love. Share. Laugh.
